Meuspath. The Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN) is looking forward to a strong third season on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The Porsche one-make series, which emerged from the Cayman GT4 Trophy by Manthey Racing that ran successfully from 2016 to 2021, will continue to be held this year as part of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) with many familiar but also new teams and drivers. The season starts at the beginning of April with two double-header weekends in a row. The racing calendar features a total of six race weekends with eight races. As usual, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS (982) in the Permit A and Permit B classifications is eligible to compete in the Cup 3 class and the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) in the Cup 2 class. The sporting and technical regulations also remain mostly the same. As in previous years, the series organiser Manthey will award a total of €200,000 in prize money and provide the one-make series structure on site. This also includes technical and spare parts support from the performance specialist from Meuspath. A new addition this year is a separate classification for Gentlemen drivers. This will be held as a sub-category of the AM-drivers' classification and honours drivers who compete without a PRO-driver. The Overall- and AM-drivers' classifications as well as the team classification of both classes will remain in place. The newly founded Nürburgring Endurance Series (NES) and the ADAC Ravenol 24h Nürburgring can also be entered in the two Cup classes in accordance with the technical PETN regulations. These events will not count towards the classifications of the PETN.

"The exciting first season of our virtual Porsche one-make series PEETN made the winter break quite entertaining. But now we are all the more looking forward to exciting motorsport on the real Nürburgring-Nordschleife. We will again be able to organise the new season with numerous familiar teams and drivers and at the same time new participants will enrich the PETN - we are very pleased with the continued great popularity. This year, we are once again working to offer our teams the best possible environment for their motorsport season at the Nürburgring and are looking forward to the first race weekend," says Julia Klee, Project Leader of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring.
