This enables us to realise specific customer orders in a targeted manner. Our location at the Nürburgring enables us to provide flexible response times and comprehensive support within the industry pool.

Development Services for Road Vehicles

The development of a small series such as our Manthey Kits demands the same meticulousness in the testing and approval processes as required by industrial manufacturers.

After the identification of performance potentials and the corresponding component definition, we take over the development and the testing. Using the example of a Manthey kit for the 911 GT3, this includes component drawing, the creation of 3D prototypes and initial samples as well as the lap time simulation. For component testing, we use the wind tunnel, the neighbouring Nürburgring Nordschleife for development runs as well as dedicated suspension and component test rigs, amongst others.

Already during the development phase, we carry out the necessary approval tests in almost the same way as for a serial production vehicle and also take into account country-specific requirements. The result is a vehicle kit that not only combines improved drivability and performance, but is also marketed via the Porsche dealership network, bearing the "Porsche approved" seal.

Development Services for Motorsport Vehicles

In motorsport, it is often the potential that our experienced engineers and Porsche factory drivers recognise and that we realise together with the manufacturer. One example is the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25, limited to 30 units, which was designed and developed together with Porsche for trackday and circuit use and is based on the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport.

The 30 vehicles were sold exclusively through Porsche.

Production of lightweight wheels 

Since July 2023, Manthey has been operating its own wheel production facility, where we produce our lighweight wheels. The decision in favour of our own site was based on our desire to respond to customer needs and guarantee the best possible quality from development to final inspection. In close cooperation with the developers at the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach, we produce technologically sophisticated forged wheels that meet Manthey's performance requirements.

Our lightweight wheels

Our expertise in the development of high-performance products for Porsche is incorporated into our lightweight wheels. Our wheels are available for all models of the Porsche 911 of the 992 generation, with more variations coming. Our wheels reduce the unsprung weight for improved performance on and off the racetrack.
