Closer to perfection

24H Nürburgring & Nürburgring langstrecken-serie (NLS)

The myth of the Nordschleife and the most demanding 24-hour race for man and machine captivates us year after year. As record winners with a total of seven overall victories, we took on the challenge true to the motto ‘Everyone praises what is tried and tested at the Nürburgring’ and will once again give our all at the endurance classic in the Eifel from 18 to 22 June 2025.

Kévin Estre, Ayhancan Güven and Thomas Preining will be at the wheel of the Grello Porsche with starting number 911. Manthey EMA finished the 2024 race in second place after completing 50 laps and the race was stopped early due to the weather. The goal for this year is to achieve our eighth overall victory in our traditional home race. Before that, the team will take part in selected races of the ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) and the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers.

This year, the team can once again count on the support of strong partners for its home races. The long-standing partners KÜS, MOTUL, Tricorp, Veltins, KW, ENDLESS, CONTROL, RIEDEL Communications, Paddocklegends and RECARO will make a significant contribution to the successful realisation of the races in the Eifel in 2025. For the first time in 2025, Manthey will also be supported by Red Bull.

Review of the 24H Nürburgring (30.05.2024-02.06.2024)

In 2024, Manthey EMA once again entered a 911 Grello Porsche in the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring. The team finished the 52nd edition of the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring in second place on the podium. The Porsche 911 GT3 R took the chequered flag after just 50 laps, the shortest race in the history of the 24 Hours. The race was abandoned due to persistent fog and then re-started behind the safety car.

Kévin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor, two experienced and victorious Nordschleife drivers, were at the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Estre has been an integral part of the Manthey entries on the Nordschleife since 2016. In 2021, he clinched the team's seventh overall victory at the Green Hell. Since 2023, the Frenchman is part of the Porsche works driver line-up in the FIA WEC Hypercar class. Laurens Vanthoor also drives a Porsche 963 in the World Endurance Championship. The Belgian celebrated his most recent race success with Manthey EMA at the Bathurst 12 Hours in early February 2024.

Thomas Preining and Ayhancan Güven completed the driver quartet. Preining, who won the DTM Team and Drivers' Championships with Manthey EMA in 2023, competed for the first time in the Grello on the Nordschleife in 2023. Güven made a successful debut with Manthey EMA at the Bathurst 12 Hours in early February 2024, finishing his first endurance race with the team as the winner.
