Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 N0

Porsche and Michelin have jointly developed a new tyre that is specially optimised for use in wet and cool conditions, making it ideal as an everyday tyre for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992). Whether on the road on the way to a trackday or on the racetrack.
Manthey distributes the tyre exclusively and serves the Porsche dealer network worldwide. This means that the Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 is available at every Porsche Centre.

The Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 was specially designed for the 911 GT3 RS of the 992 generation and carries the Porsche N-marking. It offers more grip, precision and stability, even in poor weather conditions - perfect for cold and rainy days when the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (R) reaches its limits.

A tyre where the weather is no excuse

Thanks to a specially developed rubber compound and an optimised tread pattern, the Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 offers excellent aquaplaning performance and higher safety reserves. The tread pattern, which is specially designed for wet conditions, has four large grooves with a depth of 7.4 mm in the centre of the tread. Thanks to the greater depth and the resulting increased negative tread ratio, the tyres can drain more water. A high proportion of silica in the rubber compound additionally improves grip on wet surfaces and ensures that the tyre reaches operating temperature more quickly. Even in dry conditions and higher temperatures, the tyre impresses with high wear resistance and consistently high driving stability.

The Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyre impresses with its durability and versatility. For everyday use, this means high safety reserves and driving pleasure without having to sacrifice the dynamic handling of a sports tyre.
